Maša Spaić is a musicologist and Research Assistant at the Department of Musicology, Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she is also pursuing her doctoral studies. She completed her Master's studies in 2016 with a thesis on Alfredo Casella. Her research focuses on the relationship between music and politics in 20th-century music and studies of musical performance. She has published papers in domestic and international editions and participated in numerous academic conferences.

Alongside her academic work, she is actively involved in cultural management. She has been part of the organising teams of Jeunesse (Musical Youth of Serbia) and the Kustendorf Classic festival. Since 2022, she has served as manager of the Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade and the Guitar Art Summer Fest in Herceg Novi. She is a member of the Serbian Musicological Society and the Composers' Association of Serbia.
